I Start Work Tomorrow!!

While I am not exactly thrilled at the thought of spending all day filling out new hire paperwork and listening to policies and such, I am very excited at the thought of finally going back to work. I don't know how people who don't work can stand it. I have to have something to do all day or I'll go crazy. I have read as much as I can about the job and the department and it seems like a great place to work. It looks like a job that I will really enjoy and I will be able to help people too. It might take me a little while to get over my nervousness at hearing other peoples emergencies and stuff but I think I can do it. It looks like I will have great job security and a good chance at promotions and such. I could see myself keeping this job for a long time if I end up enjoying it.

Of course there is still the matter of the church that I am helping to start but hopefully that will all work out too and I might be able to do both. The thing is that I am afraid that I am going to be on call a lot and get called in a lot and then I won't be able to have a regular schedule with the church. But if I have to I could take third shift and that might work out well because then they wouldn't call me in first during the day and if I have to stay late it would be into the morning hours and not into the time that I would be doing work for the church. Well, however it works out I am excited because it will be an adventure. I love it when life gets interesting. It's more fun that way.

I am ready to learn something new, to experience something new, to be a part of something important.
