Day 1

Well, it's day 1 of my trip and I think it is safe to tell you now where I am going. I am at this moment sitting in the airport typing this on my laptop because I am traveling to Florida today!! I like to make sure that I am on time so I am here quite early so I just purchased a day pass to the wireless hot spot here so that I would have internet access. Anyway, it is a good thing that I gave myself plenty of time because after arriving at the airport and checking in my guitar to checked luggage I looked at my boarding pass and discovered that they moved me to a gate in a completely different terminal. Good thing I was paying attention despite the fact that I was half asleep.

Luckily they have a skylink thing at this airport so I can go between terminals without going back through security. Anyway, I am at the correct gate and in plenty of time too since I like to be so early. The internet connection will help me pass the time so I really don't mind it.

Did I mention what I am going to Florida for? I am so ADD sometimes! I will be visiting people in homestead that I stayed with while I was there a couple of years ago doing youth work. I miss them sooooo much and can't wait to visit them!! So, my flight isn't for another hour or so but I think that is pretty much it for this post. I will hopefully be posting pictures of the trip soon.
