Today was a very tough day at work. We had shootings and robberies and car accidents and everything else you could possibly imagine. But one thing I learned about myself is that I can handle more than I think I can. It's good to know exactly how much you can handle in a job like this because if you can't handle a situation then somebody could possibly die as a result.

Anyway, after a tough day of work I came home to find that my washer and dryer had been brought and installed. I guess the apt complex let the delivery people into the apt. In addition to that I found my new headboard for my bed fully installed and my new rocking/swivel chair sitting in the living room. My dad must have brought the stuff and installed the headboard for me. It sure is great to have people that care about me. Sometimes we have our differences but I know I am a very lucky person to have a family like mine and to be so close to them. A lot of people these days are not on near as good terms with their families as I am. So thanks Mom and Dad if you read this for being such cool parents. I hope to one day be as good a parent to my children as you have been to me.

Ok, well, looks like this post is going in circles so I guess I will get up and do something productive like get the rest of my stuff put away so I can take these containers back to my parents house to be stored in the garage.
