Guess what folks, it's almost that time again. Thats right! It's almost time for vacation and I can't wait. I am not going to reveal where I am going quite yet but it is definately going to be a good vacation this time. There is no place in the world that I would rather visit right now than where I am going. I keep checking the calendar to see how close I am to leaving because I am so excited. So, I have about 7 days left of actual work plus a couple of days off and exactly two weeks until I leave. I need to make sure and take a good camera with me so that I can post some pictures while I am there.
Anyways, In other news.....I am looking for some new furniture. Primarily I need seating for my living room to replace the ugly futon that I have in there now. I definately will be shopping on these couple of days that I have off. I am thinking either a large sectional couch or a matching set with one of those long low sitting chairs that you practically lay down in. What are those things called? hmmm....oh well, I never really was much of an interior decorator nor do I want to be. I need to find some furniture outlet stores to check out because that is the only way I am going to afford anything like what I want. I also need to shop for some picture frames for this stuff I was going to hang up on the walls. Grrrr.....I really do not like shopping. Well, gotta go look for stuff anyway so I will catch ya in my next post.

Since there are about a billion things going on lately and I haven't managed to update this thing in a long time I figured I would write in it a little bit today (not that anyone reads it). So, lots of stuff has happened since my last post. First of all I completed dispatch training and got the job that I applied for in the police information center (PIC). I completed my training in PIC and am now working in there on second shift with Tues/Wed off. I really like it in there a lot more than I liked dispatch and I don't have to take calls either.
I've also been busy spending money. I wrecked my truck on the freeway in the ice about a month ago and ended up trading it in for an SUV. A nice shiny Ford Escape to be exact. I've got a picture but it's on my other computer right now so I will post it later. Anyway I definately like the SUV. It comes in handy when you are hauling a lot of stuff back and forth wich is just what I finished doing.
Yesterday I moved out of my small 1 bedroom apartment that is located right next to the freeway and moved to another much larger 1 bedroom apartment with a study that is located in the same apartment complex but back in the nicer neighborhood. This one is upstairs though so it was not much fun moving all of the furniture up the stairs but now it is all up here and I am just working on getting it all unpacked and cleaning the other apartment today. I think I am really going to enjoy having all of the extra space and it was well worth the move.
Well, gotta go work on the apartment some more....getting it ready to hang all the pictures on the walls and stuff next week.
