My Mom asked that I post more pictures with me in them (and not just a picture of my backside on the climbing wall) so here are a couple. The third one does not have me in it but I had to post it anyway. I have another good one of me and the kids that I will hopefully be able to post soon.
Today was another great day of Summer Daze Club. We took the kids swimming and played games in the park. They really loved it!! Tomorrow we have Friday night live for the high schoolers.

The Miami YFC Summer Intern Team. Me, Mary Ann, Verity, William, and Jean Rico.

And Here We are Again!!

Left to Right: Stacy (my intern coach), Mary Ann, Verity, Renee and the baby is Adianna.

Today was the first day of Summer Daze Club. This is a program for elementary and middle school kids that we are running Monday through Thursday every week from now until I head back home. Between this program and the high school bible studies and other activities that we are planning we are going to be pretty busy for the next 5 weeks.
The first day went well. The worship team led a few songs for the opening assembly and then we rotated the kids between 3 different stations with different activities. The theme for Summer Daze Club is the olympics. We are talking to them about how God wants them to join his team this week. It has been a lot of fun.
Our memory verse this week is.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people
Psalm 100:3
I hope that all of you have a great week and I will be updating again soon.
Alright. Maybe I'm going overboard with this photography thing but I know you love to see the smiling faces of all of the wonderful youth I am working with and I love taking the pictures. So, here are some more camp pictures. I love the tool that I use to upload these because it automatically resizes them and makes them much easier to upload over this dial-up connection. I just wish it would work for the kix kids website. I can't seem to find a good tool to resize them all at once and it is a chore doing them one at a time. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the pictures (especially the one of my smiling face).
